What dirties a Ponte Vedra house
Ponte Vedra Beach sits on the strip between the Atlantic and the Intracoastal, so the east side takes salt spray and wind-blown sand straight off the ocean, which dulls glass, eats at screen frames and settles on pool decks between rains. The west side, Marsh Landing, the Players Club and Palm Valley, faces the marsh and the Intracoastal instead, where the air is humid and the walls, roofs and screens facing the water grow mildew. Golf course lots add sprinkler overspray on the lower walls and windows.
