FAQ

Straight answers

What people ask Will most, answered plainly.

Which areas do you serve?

Washed Clean is based in St. Augustine and works all of St. Johns County: Ponte Vedra, Nocatee and St. Johns, plus Palm Coast to the south and Jacksonville to the north. Not sure you are in range? Text the address to 904-587-9528.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. Will comes out, looks at the house, the roof or the concrete, and gives you one number for the job. No charge for the visit and no pressure to book. Call or text 904-587-9528.

Do you pressure wash houses?

No. Siding, stucco, trim and roofs get a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that kills the mildew and algae at the root. High pressure is for hard surfaces like driveways, walks and pool decks. Using the right method on each surface is how the job stays safe.

What is the free window rinse?

Every house wash includes a spot-free window rinse. After the wash, the outside glass gets a final rinse with pure water, which dries without spots or streaks. It is included at no charge.

Do you offer a military discount?

Yes. Washed Clean is veteran owned, and active duty, veterans and military families get 10% off. Mention it when you call or text.

Do you do commercial work?

Yes. Storefronts, offices, walkways, parking areas and job sites. A local contractor had Will clean a house at the end of a build, and it is one of his reviews.

Do I need to be home?

No. As long as the outside spigots work, the windows are shut and the cars are off the driveway, Will can do the job while you are out. Being around helps if you have questions.

Will the cleaning solution hurt my plants or pets?

Beds and lawn get wet down before the wash, the runoff is kept off them, and everything gets rinsed again at the end. Keep pets inside until the surfaces are rinsed and dry.

How often should a house be washed in St. Augustine?

Most homes here want a wash about once a year. Salt air, shade from the live oaks and the summer humidity mean north walls and shaded sides go green faster than they would inland. If you can see green or black on the siding, it is time.

How often should a roof be cleaned?

Every one to three years, depending on shade and how fast the black streaks come back. The streaks are algae feeding on the roof, so letting them go is not just a looks problem.

Do you clean inside windows too?

Yes, interior and exterior window cleaning are both offered, and high or hard-to-reach windows are no problem. Window cleaning can be a one-time visit or on a regular schedule.

Can you get the rust and oil off my driveway?

Usually. Rust from sprinklers and oil from cars each need their own treatment, not more pressure. Old, deep stains sometimes lighten rather than vanish, and Will tells you that before he starts. Text a photo to 904-587-9528.

How long does a house wash take?

Most homes are done in a few hours. Size, two stories, and how much growth is on the siding are what move it.

Do you publish prices?

No. A one-story ranch with a little mildew and a two-story with black algae on the roof are very different jobs, so every job gets a free estimate after Will sees it. The number he gives you is the number he works to.

What is on the trailer?

Psalm 51:7: "Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow." Washed Clean is a faith-led business, and the verse is the standard for the work.
