We pre-treat the growth, then run a surface cleaner in overlapping passes so the slab comes out one even tone, not striped. Edges, the apron and the expansion joints get wand work at the end.

The newer communities have a lot of pavers on driveways, walks and pool decks. Pavers get lower pressure and a careful rinse so the joint sand stays where it is. Screen enclosures get a low-pressure wash and a soft brush where needed, never the surface cleaner, and the pool deck under them gets done in the same visit.
